We are currently seeking highly skilled and dedicated Rowing coaches to work with students at our Senior School campus on a seasonal casual basis.
Sport at The King's School is considered very important to our students’ overall development and our sport programs cater for all levels of performance, while also providing pathways for the elite who wish to excel.
Saturday inter-school sport, as part of the Athletics Association of the Great Public Schools (AAGPS) sporting competition, is compulsory and our students have access to the best possible coaches, assistants, and facilities to enhance their skills and physical fitness, while ensuring sport remains enjoyable.
The summer season will begin for most crews during the week of 21 September 2020 and continue until the final round of sport on 20 March 2021.
Training sessions and availability
- Successful applicants must be available for training sessions during the week and Saturday competition fixtures.
- Training for the Junior Rowing program (Year 8 and 9) take place in the afternoons (from 3.00pm-6.30pm).
- Saturday training and regattas are usually 6.00am-1.00pm.
- Training session times will be advised to successful assistants.
